HELLO! My name is Denise Strong, and I am teaching Bridge Math this year by way of the SAILS program. Just a little bit about me, I've moved quite a bit growing up, but made my way to Richmond Kentucky around middle school. Throughout middle and high school I new I wanted to be a Math teacher, and the college in my town had an amazing Education Program. So I attended Eastern Kentucky University for four years, majoring in Secondary Math Education. Upon graduation I got married and moved to the Johnson City TN with my husband who had been living and working here for 3 years at the time. I was lucky enough to get a job in the Bristol Tennessee City School working at Vance Middle School for a year before moving up to Tennessee High School to teach math and coach cheerleading. But in 2012 I had my first child, so I stepped down from coaching. Today I stay busy teaching full-time at THS as well as teaching with TOPS, Northeast State Community College, and going back to school myself to get my masters degree from WGU. Oh and GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!
