Hello! I am Carlinda Shaw and I am excited to start my first semester at TOPS as the Special Services adjunct. Currently, I am in my sixth year of teaching at Tennessee High School in Bristol, TN. Before coming to THS, I spent four years teaching at Virginia High. I am married to my husband Brandon and we have two dogs, Blue, a black Labrador and Lucky, a German Shepard. I graduated from St. Bonaventure University in New York state in 2009 (B.S. Elementary and Special Education) and 2010 (M.S. Ed Reading Specialist). In 2012, I attended UVA (English as a Second Language) along with LMU in 2016 (Ed. S Curriculum and Instruction) and 2017 (Leadership. I look forward to working with my new students and families in the online setting!
