This year I embarked on my 7th year as a school counselor, and my second year as a high school counselor. I received a degree in business and marketing from the University of Tennessee Knoxville (GO VOLS) in 2008. I spent a few years in business management, but I soon felt a call toward a career that would make the world a better place. I went back to school, and received a master's degree in school counseling from the University of Tennessee Martin, and my adventure in school counseling began.
When I am not helping students with their academic, social, and emotional needs, you can find me with my 3 children (Cole, Claire, and Cora) and my husband of 10 years.
